Joanie Loves… September Edition

Fall is officially in full swing! Here are some fun links I’ve gathered while cozying up in my house in the rain.

Surrounding myself in nature is a crucial component to my lifestyle. After going on a six-mile hike with my Parsons and Co. team, I felt my brain rejuvenated and a had a much clearer mind. After reading this article in Outside magazine, I know why!

You don’t need to wait until the New Year to try something new. This article from Vox discusses how and why you should join – or start – a club. This fall, I challenge you to join at least one club or make time for a routine gathering with friends. Pickleball, anyone?

The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker is a great read for those who are tired of lackluster, unproductive meetings and gatherings. If you want meaningful, memorable experiences in both small and big groups, this is the book for you — and RevelEleven is the place to be! Skim this article before reading the book to gain more insight into the book and author.

You might have heard the term regenerative agriculture before. This documentary trailer for “Common Ground” dives into the concept and how prioritizing farmers and the way we take care of our soil will not only benefit us but future generations too. There’s a viewing tonight at Town Hall in Seattle, or you can request a showing in your town.
