I had never gone away alone for a weekend before the Roslyn retreat. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I spent the weekend witnessing the most beautiful connections between women who had started out strangers. Each of us have our own journey but we found healing in shared experiences, shared grief, shared joy, shared adventure, shared understanding, and shared meals. With RevelEleven I found just what I didn't know I needed.”

Recently, I attended my third Revel Eleven retreat in Roslyn Washington.  Joanie has an amazing way to bring like hearted women together to enjoy the outdoors and hold each other with grace for personal growth and self-discovery.  Joanie has such an open heart and creates thought provoking discussions to help women bond, love themselves and unlock their dreams and ambitions.  In this last retreat, we made vision boards which is a fun and profound exercise.  Joanie also incorporates physical movement and nature in the retreats which makes the experience unique and full.  For all these reasons, I highly recommend Revel Eleven retreats…. ON REPEAT!!  Namaste!

The decision to join the yoga retreat was an easy one. I’d met Joanie last year at another retreat and I was immediately drawn to her warmth, her spirit. When I learned from her that she was a co founder of RevelEleven I was immediately intrigued. I dived right in, joining the Zoom offerings: taking a cooking class with a James Beard award winning chef; learning about how trees talk to one another, resiliency from a climber trauma survivor and the value of spirituality with respect to our mental health. Joanie has artfully and authentically created a space for women to come together and support one another.

I would say that hiking in Bryce and Zion was on my bucket list........but little did I know that this beautifully planned trip would be such an inspiration!  The beauty was spectacular but it was the attention to detail of the planners and the amazing group of women that made this trip a life changer!  I have seen some of the women since and they still have a big smile on their faces and agree that the trip was magical:))  I would love to take another trip with Revel Retreats!

The Revel Retreats trip to Zion and Bryce was amazing.  Joanie and Monica are such wonderful hosts, and the hiking was fantastic. They are always prepared (Monica has, what looks like a 40 pound first aid kit and carries it on all of the hikes!!) and super resourceful  (they found the makings for cocktails…IN UTAH…..on a SUNDAY!!!)  I highly recommend this trip and all trips planned by Revel Retreats.

In May, I had a fabulous opportunity to participate in Revel Retreat's inaugural hiking trip to the southwest. I started the adventure knowing only two of the 14 participants. I finished the journey with 12 new friends. Each of the women hikers brought their own unique energy to the mix. The camaraderie was terrific. In addition, we visited two amazing National Parks: Zion and Bryce Canyon. When I close my eyes, I can still see the stunning beauty of these amazing destinations. Don't walk, but run to catch this opportunity with Revel Retreats. It is magical in so many ways.

The weekend was a restorative pause in my busy life and I’m so glad that I participated. The daily yoga with our guest teacher, Shay, was heavenly, as were all the lovely ways that Joanie invited us to engage in thoughtful, relaxing activities. But the thing that was most wonderful to me was the way that 8 women, most of whom did not know each other, so immediately formed community and created a truly warm and supportive and fun experience.

I just want to express my sincere thanks for your generous spirit and careful thought that you put into my first Revel 11 Retreat. Starting with great communication, then of course, you making sure everyone feels included, and the wonderful surprises you had in store for us. I never would have taken 1 lesson, much less 2, but I so enjoyed getting back on X Country skis and learning better form and efficiency. I am motivated to get back out there.

I just woke up from a long winter’s nap, in an effort to recover from a stressful day of travel. The slumber included a dream about a wonderful adventure in a magical, snowy valley with several delightful ladies. Our guide on this adventure was an inventive, thoughtful woman named Joanie. What a beautiful bunch of souls you all are, and how perfect that our journeys intersected at this particular juncture! I’ve been coasting on this retreat all day and will hold (but not hoard!) it in my favorite memories. I've now done a number of RevelEleven retreats, and the one last month was one of my favorites! I very much enjoyed the vision board exercise; it is sitting in my office window where I see it and contemplate my goals every day.  The flower arranging was really special as well.  Of course, the best part was meeting and connecting with the fabulous group of people you brought together.  Lovely, super interesting women, one and all!
