The Summer Solstice Is Here: Let's Pause + Reflect
Well, it’s here — the Summer Solstice.
We’ve officially reached the midpoint of the year, and what a wild, beautiful ride it’s been.
How are you doing?
Maybe you’ve moved through some heavy stuff.
Maybe you’ve grown, blossomed, and thrived.
Or maybe, like most of us, it’s been a little of both.
Wherever you find yourself at this moment, today invites us to pause, bask in the glow of this midpoint, and revel in the last six months. The Solstice has long been celebrated by ancient cultures as a time of light, fertility, abundance, and life.
So take a moment. Ask yourself:
What are you celebrating?
What’s flourishing in your life right now?
What might be asking to be released or transformed?
The natural rhythm of the seasons is upon us — and with it, an invitation to reflect and realign.
For me, the first six months of this year have been about intention. I’ve approached each month as a chapter in a year-long story, giving each one a theme, a mantra, a purpose. This practice has brought me so much clarity — helping me stay grounded, say no when needed, and stay focused on what truly matters.
Here’s a peek into my “chapter titles” so far:
January – Intentional (Dry January)
February – Foundation
March – Build
April – Resilience
May – Strength
June – Consistency
Thinking of the year this way has been transformational. And I’m so grateful that seven women joined me for the first-ever Finding Clarity in Three Chapters workshop — a three-month journey from the Spring Equinox to this week. We’ll be celebrating their growth and commitment on Monday (I’ll be running it again in the fall if you’re curious!).
Oh, and because summer deserves a soundtrack, I’ve put together a playlist of feel-good, sun-drenched tunes. Make sure to give it a listen.
