About Dr. Julia Colangelo
Dr. Julia Colangelo (DSW, MSW, and LCSW) is a licensed solution-focused therapist, Flow & Mindfulness researcher and consultant with more than 14 years of experience as a therapist and clinical researcher in the science and psychology of flow. She’s the founder of Hello Flow and The Flow Brain, Maui-based educational companies where she teaches behavioral flow strategies and mindfulness skills to support social, emotional, and relationship growth.
Julia helps visionaries, and public figures get out of the riptide of overstimulation, regulate their nervous system, and cruise into their greatest flow states of creativity so they can recover, connect, and flourish. Julia completed her Bachelor of Social Work at NYU, MSW at Columbia, and her Clinical Doctorate (DSW) at UPenn and proudly teaches Mindfulness at Columbia University. You can find her playing in the waves at the beach with her daughters and crafting most days of the week.
