The Playful Way

Reclaiming Creativity, Connection & Joy

Join us in conversation with Piera Gelardi, presented by RevelEleven’s Chapters Book Club

THIS MIGHT FEEL UNCOMFORTABLY FAMILIAR

Let me guess. Your days are full, productive, and carefully managed, yet something still feels missing. You’ve tried scheduling more hobbies, planning fun activities, or telling yourself to loosen up. But somehow joy still feels forced or fleeting.

You feel pressure to make the most of every hour and struggle to relax without feeling like you “should” be doing something else.

❋ Persona 1

You miss feeling spontaneous, curious, or playful, but you’re not sure how to reconnect with that part of yourself.

❋ Persona 2

You’re highly capable and driven, yet your days often feel more productive than joyful.

❋ Persona 3

You want more moments of lightness, connection, and delight, but they rarely make it onto your calendar.

❋ Persona 4

You’ve learned how to be productive, efficient, and responsible. But somewhere along the way, life started to feel like something to manage instead of something to enjoy.

When every hour becomes something to optimize, even rest, creativity, and fun start to feel like tasks on a checklist.  What if the answer isn’t doing life better, but playing with it again?

In this live conversation, creative entrepreneur and Refinery29 co-founder Piera Gelardi shares why play isn’t frivolous or unproductive. It’s one of the most powerful catalysts for creativity, resilience, connection, and joy.

Joy isn’t something you schedule. It’s something you rediscover.

WHAT YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH

Play isn’t just something children do.

It’s a powerful way adults unlock creativity, emotional resilience, and fresh ways of thinking.

In this live conversation, Piera Gelardi will explore how play can shift how you approach work, relationships, creativity, and everyday life.

You’ll learn how to:

01

Recognize how the pressure to optimize everything quietly drains joy and creativity

02

Reconnect with curiosity and playfulness without needing more time, structure, or planning

03

Break out of rigid thinking patterns and invite more spontaneity into everyday life

04

Use simple moments of play to refresh your perspective, boost creativity, and spark new ideas

05

Create space for more connection, delight, and emotional well-being without adding more to your to-do list

06

You’ll leave with a refreshing new lens on productivity, creativity, and joy, along with practical ways to bring more play into your life starting immediately.

This conversation is for the woman who’s done trying to optimize every part of her life and is ready to rediscover the energy, creativity, and joy that play makes possible.
