A Summer Evening in Three Eastside Gardens (In-Person)

Join three garden enthusiasts for an evening walk through their beautiful gardens. All three are located in Bellevue, a short drive from each other.

We will start the evening in the garden of Susie Marglin with a glass of bubbly. Having lived in Baja for 30 years, she wanted to duplicate the feeling at her new home. Envision vignettes throughout with fountains, tile roofs and stone patios. Walk through the quarter acre of PNW plantings amidst the palm trees, bananas, cactus, agave, aloe and some surprises.

Next, we will venture to the home of Nita Jo Roundtree – often referred to as the Queen of Color—for delectable nibbles! She marries her lust for rare and unusual plants with color and fragrance. From the sunny front overflowing with annuals and perennials, you enter the backyard with a severe sloped and terraces backyard bounty. Search for the Koi pond with colorful friends, a water lily orb, and encounter an array of roses, lilies and other specimen plantings.

Our tour will end with wine and heavy apps at the home of Denise Lane. For nearly three decades, this weekend warrior didn’t sit still. Walk through the acre of mature trees and unusual plants. It’s a plant lover’s paradise where floral arrangements can be made year-round. Look for beautiful color combinations in this serene setting.

Don't miss this intimate evening on Thursday, July 27th starting at 4:30 p.m. Bring a friend, sister, mother that loves gardening.

Join the RevelEleven team for an amazing spread of hors d’oeuvres by the fabulous Alexa’s Café. Wine and bubbly will be served.
