Where we spend our money matters. Women influence 85% of all spending decisions so what if your choices empowered other women?
TheWMarketplace is leading the way. A disruptor with an online platform for women to support women, co-founders Kate Isler and Susan Gates want to lift women up and close the gender gap. The Women's Marketplace features all women-owned businesses from retail stores to new business owners and service providers. So you can go to the marketplace to find a candle or a counselor – all in one place.
Two of those sellers include Tina Soedjak of Crafting Hope and Jennifer Cervelli of Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry. Kate, Susan, Tina and Jennifer will share their stories of women supporting women and inspire you to change the way you shop in order to support women-owned businesses.
AND by attending Change Makers: Elevating Women-Owned, you will be entered to win one of two $50 gift cards to The WMarketplace! You can also be entered to win one of two copies of co-founder Kate Isler's book: Breaking Borders.
About Susan and Kate: Susan Gates and Kate Isler are the co-founders of TheWMarketplace, an online platform for women-owned and gender balanced businesses and professional service providers. After years of experience in other jobs and careers, Susan and Kate came together last spring with a sense of urgency to help women being disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Seeing the increasing need to shift business online, and knowing that women would need to have flexibility in their personal and professional lives, TheWMarketplace was born.
About Jennifer: Jennifer Cervelli is the owner and creative force of Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry. She designs and creates timeless jewelry that's rustic, ethical, and highly well-crafted for earth-conscious, free spirits because she believes in empowering others while doing our part for Mother Earth.
About Tina: Tina Soedjak is a professional in accounting & tax consulting but has a heart for helping and empowering people in poverty and people with disabilities. She is a part of the nonprofit organization Crafting Hope International, whose mission is to provide a living to mute and deaf women in rural areas. They produce and sell beautiful, quality handwoven items that give these women in poverty an opportunity to generate income and craft hope.
