Fall is our favorite time of year. The Chinese regard it as the fifth season – (that in-between moment) when summer turns to autumn, the colors are rich, and fruits + veggies bountiful.
Join us for a lovely lunch celebrating fall's bounty at the quaint design studio of Sandy Figel of Verbena Floral in Woodinville, Washington. Peruse her cutting garden with bubbly before embarking on a creative expression of making a floral crown. What is a floral crown you ask? Together we will gather flowers, foliage, herbs, seeds and maybe even vines to make a botanical wreath for your head crown bouquet.
Spend the afternoon enjoying a delicious lunch, botanical drink, wine + dessert with 16 wonderful women. Joining us will be Debra Prinzing, creator of the Slow Flower Society + the movement dedicated to the growing and design of local, seasonal and sustainable flowers. She’s also the author of many books, including Where We Bloom, which features Sandy’s beautiful studio.
