Summer of Self-Love: Loving All of Yourself

Learn to love all parts of yourself. And yes, we do mean all! All of the good, the bad, the messy, the creative, the unattractive, the silly... all the stuff that makes you, uniquely you.

Why is self-love so hard? We come into this life enchanted to be alive, joyous, and curious. Over time, messages we get from our family of origin, our schooling and society shape us. Madison Avenue has been masterful at exploiting our lack of self-love and offering us solutions to fix it. They say we will love ourselves more by consuming more, having more, needing more.

Join host of the recently released podcast Heart and Soul, Ellen Newhouse, for a special hour of the Summer of Self Love series. Ellen shows us that no matter where we have been, what has happened to us or what we have done, we have the power to create a life we love and it starts with the gift of self-love.

About Ellen: Ellen Newhouse is the best-selling author of the memoir, Nothing Ever Goes On Here, speaker, sound healer, acupuncturist and actress. For the past 30 years, Ellen has been integrating Acupuncture, Sound Healing, Energy Medicine and Intuitive Coaching in her private practice. Ellen's memoir, Nothing Ever Goes On Here has been adapted by director Jolene Adams into a one-woman play. Ellen has been performing her show in Seattle, Los Angeles and New York.

Through her book, performance and work with patients, Ellen demonstrates that it’s not only possible to heal from trauma and other seemingly insurmountable obstacles but also essential to reclaim your voice. She shares her insights and wisdom she has learned on her own healing journey with you so that you may recover your own unique voice in the world and transform your life into one filled with joy, self-love and love in all its sundry forms.
