Special Memories of Zion + Bryce

My grandparents lived a few miles from Zion National Park in Utah, so my family spent a lot of time exploring the area in our green station wagon. With three older siblings, my brother and I shared the backward-facing back seat and we’d peer over the edge of the sheer cliffs below. We loved scrambling around the red rocks and searching for fossils and arrowheads.

Over the years, I took many friends to Zion and Bryce to show them my favorite spots. After moving to Seattle in 1995, southern Utah was no longer part of my consciousness—until a couple of years ago when Joanie and I took our loves to spend my birthday there. It was magical to reconnect with the desert beauty and share it with our favorite men! Joanie and I crafted our first RevelEleven retreat agenda while visiting, and the result was a truly spectacular experience with eight other women revelers in May 2018.

So we want to do it again! reveleleven will be hosting another Zion + Bryce adventure in 2021, so please let us know if you’re interested!

Cheers!

Monica
