Brick by Brick: Building Hope & Opportunity for Women Survivors Everywhere (Virtual)

What can we learn from riveting stories of resilience, redemption, of courageous women who triumphed over adversity in times of war and conflict? They inspire us to embrace our own inner strength, confront our challenges with courage and determination, and strive to create a more just and compassionate world for all.

Author Karen Sherman is a renowned advocate for international women's rights, the Co-founder and CEO of Virunga Mountain Spirits and the author of Brick by Brick: Building Hope and Opportunity for Women Survivors Everywhere

She will join us on June 26th to share her deeply personal story of overcoming trauma and finding healing amidst the struggles of her own past abuse. She will enlighten us on how the unwavering resilience of the extraordinary women she’s walked alongside women in a variety of contexts and cultures have helped her navigate her own challenges.

During Karen's presentation, we will hear briefly from one of her close friends, Rose Muhumuza, who will also be sharing her incredible and compelling personal story with us.

Don't miss this empowering event that promises to ignite hope, spark meaningful conversations, and leave you feeling inspired to conquer your own obstacles with courage and determination.
