Navigating Anxiety + Depression with Dr. Khalila Fordham (Virtual)

Our mothers didn’t talk about anxiety and depression. But it's time to talk about it. The number of women who experience these common mental health disorders is 25% more than men.

Dr. Khalila Fordham believes we can treat these mental health disorders through holistic healing practices. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, advocate, and educator who helps expand access so we can all better navigate the system.

In this event, Dr. Fordham will give us an overview of anxiety & depression, and help us understand various factors in dealing with the mental health disorders in ourselves and our loves ones:

  • What is anxiety? How is it different than depression

  • What is the influence of hormones? What solutions are there?

  • What are the pros – and cons – of taking anti-anxiety meds

  • Tools for dealing with A + D.

And so much more.
